Shameem has been an active volunteer for several years. The majority of her work has been focused on supporting projects and initiatives in the schools where her children studied. Through her volunteer work, Shameem has participated in a variety of initiatives including organizing out of town field trips, reorganizing the school library, creating and disseminating a regular newsletter for the soccer team, and teaching Sunday school. These projects have enabled Shameem to gain a variety of transferable skills.

 

More recently, Shameem has taken on the volunteer coordinator role at Olive. She possesses strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills. Shameem enjoys collaborating with people of all ages and backgrounds and takes pride in supporting Olive’s work. She looks forward to continuing to watch Olive grow and evolve.
