Anu was born in Fiji and migrated to Vancouver at the tender age of 6-months. Anu has worked in the non-profit sector for over twenty years in the areas of education, career development, program coordination, vision loss rehabilitation, technology training, project management, fund raising, and event coordination. Anu has also participated in media and public relations initiatives including radio broadcasting, freelance writing, public speaking, and media coordination for fund raising events.

 

Anu has been involved in community initiatives for the majority of her life and as a result has developed a deep passion and commitment towards creating positive change in the world. Anu joined the Olive family in March 2019 as the executive assistant, and with time, has taken on a variety of roles and responsibilities. Anu values the important work that Olive is doing to help make a positive difference in the lives of seniors. As a woman of color living with vision loss, Anu values diversity, inclusion, and equality for all.
